USSU Safewalk is looking for volunteers to promote a safe environment within Usask community!
Safewalk is a USSU service in which volunteers, with the help of Protective Services, accompany students to their destination on or near campus during evening hours (8:30-11:30 pm, Sunday-Thursday) and promote a safe campus environment throughout the school year. Outside of these hours, Protective Services provides walking escorts. This service is free and available to students, staff, faculty and campus visitors.
Email us at firstname.lastname@example.org if you are interested in volunteering with us!
Tell us why YOU need feminism and win a prize! Taking a photo at our booth or submitting a response to our Instagram or Facebook, both count as an entry to win one of our daily prizes!
Why do you need feminism? The USSU Women’s Centre will be traveling to colleges across campus from November 4th-8th promoting our Who Needs Feminism photo campaign. The intention of this event is to highlight intersectionality in feminism by gathering and sharing responses about what feminism means to students across campus. Stop by any of the locations listed below between 10AM-1PM to tell us why you need feminism, have your photo taken for our Facebook page, and learn more about the USSU Women’s Centre.
