Two University of Saskatchewan students have had their work published in an unusual venue – a calendar. Jingting Lei and Xiaojing Lu, mentored by Dr. Winston Zeng, of The Spatial Initiative, produced a map of aboriginal communities in northern Saskatchewan. This map was compiled in response to multiple requests to The Spatial Initiative for high quality maps for northern areas, including northern Saskatchewan.
The map was developed usng the
ESRI Canada selected this map for their 2017 calendar, which has the theme of 150 years of confederation.
Jingting and Xiaojing were given an award from ESRI Canada for their contribution.
