Saskatchewan Indigenous High School Graduation Rate Still Lags

According to recent figures, the high school graduation rate for First Nations, Metis and Inuit students was 43.2% compared with 76.5% in total. A strategic plan unveiled in 2014 by the Saskatchewan government and the Saskatchewan School Boards Association aims to have the overall graduation rate up to 85% by 2020 with the Indigenous rate up to 65%.
