Marilyn Poitras Resigns As A MMIWG Commissioner

Marilyn Poitras, one of the commissioners for the national inquiry into Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls (MMIWG) has resigned. In her resignation letter to the Prime Minister she states she can’t continue her work within the current structure. Poitras has served as a assistant professor at the University of Saskatchewan, College of Law.
