Government of Canada Assists Pikangikum First Nation Youth

Recently Steven Blaney, Minister of Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness announced $2,389,319.00 in federal funding over five years for Project Journey, a crime prevention project that will help Aboriginal youth in Pikangikum First Nation. The project will assist 75 to 100 youth aged 6 to 18 annually in activities designed to decrease incidents of crime and increase improved social outcomes.
