Northern Saskatchewan MP Objects to Proposed Boundary Changes

Desnethe-Missinippi-Churchill River Conservative MP Rob Clarke has accused the federal boundaries commission of “gerrymandering” in regards to proposed boundary changes which he says would make his riding more “homogeneous.” Lac La Ronge Indian Band Chief Tammy Cook-Searson took umbrage with Clarke’s comments and wrote the Parliamentary committee reviewing the proposals, saying she was offended by the suggestion of too many First Nations constituents.
