Kevin Lowey named inaugural member of Blackboard MVP Program

Congratulations to Kevin Lowey of Information and Communications Technology who was named an inaugural member of the Blackboard MVP Program, which recognizes individuals who have established themselves as thought leaders in educational technology by sharing their expertise in Blackboard platforms. He is the only Canadian chosen out of 17 individuals.

Blackboard MVPs are users who stand out as experts in Blackboard technologies, sharing their expertise with other clients, demonstrating leadership in the education technology community, and actively sharing feedback with Blackboard.

“We are proud to recognize Blackboard MVPs for reaching beyond the borders of their institutions and organizations to share their knowledge and best practices with our products to the larger Blackboard community,” said Jay Bhatt, Chief Executive Officer at Blackboard. “This program is incredibly powerful as it provides a platform not only for users to collaborate and learn from each other, but also for our company leaders to hear directly from the people who use our solutions in the field, every day. Blackboard MVPs are truly helping improve the learning experience and address important challenges in education.”

MVPs will have exclusive access to professional development trainings and will be invited to private product briefings and roadmap sessions with Blackboard executives. Blackboard is a global leader in enterprise technology and innovative solutions that improve the experience of millions of students and learners around the world every day. Blackboard’s solutions allow thousands of higher education, professional, corporate and government organizations to extend teaching and learning online.
