Indigenous People Need Resettlement Help Like Rufugees

Grand Chief Sheila North Wilson of the Manitoba Keewatinowi Okimakanak recently stated that she feels Indigenous people moving from a reserve, often in a remote region to cities need transition assistance like refugees to Canada. North Wilson stressed that point at the United Nations in New York City recently, when she spoke at a conference during the 61st session of the Commission on the Status of Women.
